Hey! We are back in action after a brief hiatus.

Start your week off pumping with some tasty, old-school house music. This is a Kenny Dope remix of Martha Walsh's "Carry On." Walsh was originally a background singer for the legendary disco-drag queen Sylvester, until Walsh decided on pursuing her own solo career. Walsh's solo work paves the way for many great later artists, such as the UK's Black Box and Cookie. But nothing will beat the original: Martha Walsh!

Coachella lineup gets announced tomorrow, stay tuned.

Boogie Wednesdays #3 [DOUBLE FEATURE]

The first track is a Duck Sauce (A-track/Armin Van Helden) track which is a rework of the 1979 You Can do It (Anyway That You Want It).

Although there are no major differences from the older version, the modern production of Duck Sauce really brings out the groove where the original failed to do so.

The second track is a Fred Falke remix of Go Music Go's fantastic track, Warm In The Shadows.

1:03 is just beautiful, great vocalist.

Say what you will about modern-day radio, but that's exactly how I found this groovy jewl!

Billy Ocean - Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)

Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man

This song sweeps me off my feet. It's like everything I ever wanted out of folk ballads and more. The acoustic guitar takes a backseat in this song, a rare and beautiful phenomenon in western music. The singing, especially in the chorus, will take you by storm, as will the surprisingly thunderous banjo and bass drum. This song and it's accompanying video are something to marvel at. The only problem is that, as one youtube commenter lovingly pointed out, the singer looks like a fat Hitler. The band hails from West London, they got together in autumn of 2007, and originally they were just a bunch of guys having some fun. Now they have promotional pictures and a damn good music video. We live in a good world.
